Val Holley’s Frank J. Cannon: Saint, Senator, Scoundrel recently won the Utah Historical Society’s annual Juanita Brooks Best Book Award. His 25th Street Confidential: Drama Decadence and Dissipation Along Ogden’s Rowdiest Road won the Utah Book Award in Nonfiction. A native of Weber County, Holley lives in New York City.
